Arkaea - “Gone Tomorrow”

I’ve already blogged about Arkaea several times already. (The 1, 2 & 3.) And then… I pretty much forgot about them for a spell, as excited as I was about them. Their facebook & twitter pages are, unfortunately, not exactly “active”, by any means. But their new album Years In The Darkness is out as of mid-July, which I’m catching up on, and their tour with Kittie starts next month. They’ve filmed a video for their next single “Gone Tomorrow”, which should hopefully hit the nets soon. And despite a few metal blog reviews, some of which liken them to “Extreme-kin Park”, I honestly haven’t heard a bad song yet on the album. I mean, I honestly couldn’t choose which album samples to promote here cause I pretty much like every song. (Eeny-meeny-miney-mo worked well.) But then again, I’m not exactly a death metal/screamo purest either. So maybe that’s why this muddy-road metal band is right up my alley. Either way, their new album is rockin’ my socks off. If only their PR would play ketchup & remind the world about them. I mean… less than 20k friends on MySpaceand almost zero net buzz??? Helloooo… somebody is sleepin on the job. Zzzzzz…
