The Horrors - “Changing The Rain”

Here’s the latest video off their new album.  I’ve been a fan for 3 years, and this is not The Horrors first appearance on this blog.  It’s been interesting watching them evolve from Primary Colours to Skying, their latest effort.  Their dark & brooding Joy Division-esque sound seems to have given way to a lighter pop sensibility delivered in psych rock style.  Yet I’m happy to hear they manage to hold on to some of that growling synth, noise distorted deep sound that they’re known & loved for.

The Horrors - “Mirror’s Image”

A new Horrors video was premiered today by none other than Trent Reznor himself… the biggest Horrors cheerleader out there.  Go here to download the video from the NIN site.  Can’t wait to see these guys next month!

Crocodiles - “I Wanna Kill”

I’m looking forward to catching Crocodiles, who will be opening for The Horrors.  I’ve heard a lot of buzz about this new San Diego band with the retro sound, particularly about their high energy live show.  Looking forward to seeing it for myself.

I found out last night that The Horrors are playing Austin @ Emo’s on September 26th.  Tickets are just $12.  I’m so there!!  Be sure to check out the official website to listen to their new album & get a free download.
