Imogen Heap - “First Train Home”

FINALLY, Imogen released her new album Ellipse this week, her 1st new album in 4 long years.  And just as expected, it totally kills. Her trademark ethereal voice sails against waves of electronic ballads, tragic melodies, soaring crescendos, and rhapsodic lyrics.  I just love her… I’m even willing to overlook the Rain Pryor hair in her new video.  =/  Be sure to check out “Wait It Out” below… definitely one of the best songs on the album.  You can also listen to the album in it’s entirety here for a limited time.

Imogen Heap Album Preview Trailer

I cannot wait for this.  I think Imogen is absolutely brilliant… from Frou Frou to her solo music.  She’s one of those artists that I can’t wait to see what she does next.  In my book, Imogen Heap and Amanda Palmer can do no wrong.  Ellipse is going to be AMAZING.
