I missed these guys @ Fun Fun Fun Fest this year, (was up to my ankles in mud watching HEALTH in the rain when they took the yellow stage). Of course the big news was the arrest of King Khan & tour manager in Kentucky just days after Fun Fun Fun Fest for possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms. I’ve since been catching up on their new album Invisible Girl, out last month. Lonely Boy is hands down my favorite song, but I love the punk rock meets doo-wop spirit of I’ll Be Loving You. The King Khan & BBQ Show are like Chuck Berry on acid. Or at least hallucinogenic mushrooms. ;)
Loving the new video. Loving the new album, Get Color, which came out earlier this week. Still can’t wait to see these guys at Fun Fun Fun Fest. Check out my blog here to listen to mp3s by HEALTH. If you are into remixes, URB put together a sweet batch of them Tuesday to coincide with the album release.

I’m looking forward to seeing these guys at Fun Fun Fun Fest. They’ve been making a name for themselves over the last two years and are certainly one of the best bands to come out of LA in a long time. And it certainly doesn’t suck to have Trent Reznor in your corner, having periodically opened for NIN both on last year’s Lights in the Sky tour and a few California shows next month. These guys are definitely at the top of my “Do Not Miss” for 3xFun Fest.
Brand spankin’ new Ratatat! Can’t wait to see these guys at Fun Fun Fun Fest in November. As excited as I am to finally see 7 Seconds & curmudgeon-y Glenn Danzig, I’m surprisingly just as equally curious & excited to see these guys perform.
The lineup has been announced, and it’s gonna be a great year. There will be over 90 artists playing, but some standouts that caught my eye right away are Ratatat, HEALTH, Crystal Castles, 7 Seconds, Danzig, DRI, Jesus Lizard, Face to Face, Gorilla Biscuits, Mika Miko, Street Dogs, Riverboat Gamblers, Dead Confederate, Les Savy Fav, No Age, Pharcyde, & lots more. I’ve already bought my tickets, should be a blast! Go to www.funfunfunfest.com for tix & info.
